BLOMBERG, JANE "BETSY" (BRUINGTON), 87, of Louisville, went to be with her Heavenly Father Monday, November 25, 2012.

She was a native of Harned, KY, and a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church. She retired from being a daycare teacher for Valley Community Daycare.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Blomberg.

She is survived by her children, James Blomberg (Rachel), Eric Blomberg (Annie) and Rebecca Kaplan; a sister, Frances Bruington; a brother, Chester Bruington; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be held 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. Friday.
