Jean Braune

BRAUNE, JEAN CARLE FRYBERGER, 79, died Wednesday, April 23, 2008. Jean was truly loved by all who knew her. Her legacy as a wife, mother and "mamaw" will go unmatched. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, William A. "Bill" Bruane. She is survived by her sons, Stuart Braune (Deborah) and Mark Braune (Debbie); daughters, Christie Witten (Darryl) and Debbie Carper (Chris); 11 grandchildren, Teege, Nic, Abby, Kellie, Kasie, Kerrie, Matt, Erin, Andy, Kaala and Aric, who lovingly called her "mawmaw;" five great-grandchildren; and brother, Irvin Fryberger (Dorothy). Her funeral service is 11 a.m. Saturday, at Highlands Family- Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, with private burial to follow.
