Veal, Jean Elizabeth (Leeth),

Born in Nashville, TN, to the late John Barnard and Alma (Donnell) Leeth, she lived her entire adult life in Louisville. She met the love of her life, Dr. Samuel J. Veal at Murray State University. Dr. Veal, who was a retired Professor of Dentistry at the University of Louisville, preceded her in death in 2002, one month shy of their 50th Anniversary.
Our amazing mother was a devoted wife, loving mother, sister, aunt and grandmother, bible student and teacher, mentor and friend. She was also an accomplished church pianist. She was a woman of deep faith, bright laughter, and a joyful spirit.
Jean is survived by her five sons, David (Nancy), Bryan (Jan), Alan (Teri), Chris (Sarah) and Eric (Denise); twelve grandchildren, Sarah Disney (Paul), Emily Cantwell (Hunter), Kate, Samantha, Maggie, Carson, Logan, Brandon, Nicolas, Noelle, Nate and Mebrate Veal; great granddaughter, Charlotte Cantwell; and sisters, Katherine Bugenhagen (Tom), Lucille Bentley (Bob) and Alice Adamson (Doug).
