SMITH, JERRY (SMITY), 67, of Prospect, KY, died Thursday, April 18, 2013 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital.
He was born to Carlo and Lanie Smith on November 22, 1945.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Irene Kirk of Charlestown, IN; and twin brother, Willie Smith of Ozark, AK.
He is survived by his son, Montie Smith of Greensburg, KY; daughter, Denise Crimmons of Henryville, IN; two grandsons, Ben and Bryan Smith both of Greensburg, KY; granddaughter, Ella Burkhead of Henryville, IN; two step-grandsons, Dustin and Zachary Corbett both of Charlestown, IN; brothers, Eligie Smith of Otisco, IN, and Johnny Smith of Tuscon, AZ, Truman Smith of Prospect, Roy and John Smith both of Mt. Washington; and sisters, Sally Koch of Louisville, KY, and Rosie Mitchell of Tuscon, AZ.
Visitation will be Sunday 2-8 p.m. and 9-11 a.m. Monday at Stoess Funeral Home, Crestwood. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens East.
