Jessie Sipes

Sipes, Jessie E.,90, went home to his Lord, Tuesday March 17, 2015 at his residence.He was born in Neafus, KY, to Harvey and Myra C. (Taylor) Sipes.Jessie was a retired Foreman at TARC, with 40 years service, a World War II Army veteran, a member of the Woodmen of the World, Louisville Chapter, a Kentucky Colonel and a longtime member of Shively Baptist Church.He is survived by his loving wife, Mary N (Edwards) Sipes; a daughter, Patricia Breitholle; two grandchildren, Eric Breitholle and Deidre Giles (Ryan); three great-grandchildren, Landon, Reece and Caleb.Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
