JONES, JOANN (McMICHAEL), 75, of Louisville, passed away May 19, 2011 at Jewish Hospital.
She faithfully served her Savior and Lord teaching Sunday school for 60 years. She was much loved by her family and friends and was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She was a kind and loving person and looked forward to going home to be with her Lord. She was a member of Chapel Park Baptist Church and the Young at Heart Club and retired from JCPS as an instructional assistant.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 32 years, Donald Eugene Jones.
Survivors include her children, Jeanine Holden (Bill) and Mike Jones (Susie); grandchildren, Kenny (Angela) and Kevin (Amy) Jones, and Kendahl Holden; great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Silas, Sean, Rebecca and Daniel; brother, Ron McMichael; and very special and close friend, Joyce Beasley.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Chapel Park Baptist Church, 2600 Dixie Highway, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West. Visitation will be noon-8 p.m. Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway. Online condolences to www.owenfuneralhome.com
