JoAnn Daugherty

Daugherty, JoAnn,79, passed away Sunday April 26, 2015. She retired, after 38 years, as a medical records clerk at Sts. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital. She is a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church and an avid Big Blue Kentucky fan.She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Robert L "Big Blue Bob" Daugherty.JoAnn is survived by her loving children, Robert Daugherty Jr., Paul A Daugherty (Kathy), and Leeanne Blackburn (Paul). Her grandchildren are, Paul Blackburn Jr. (Rebecca), Melissa Metcalfe, Charles Browne (Heather), Amanda Blackburn Piro (Luke), Paul A. Daugherty Jr. (Ashley), and Christopher Daugherty (Crystal); and 14 great-grandchildren.The funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Wednesday at her church, 7335 Southside Dr., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at Joseph E. Ratterman & Son, 7336 Southside Drive.
