She was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Louisville.
Joann was born on February 12, 1936 in Louisville to the late Ralph M. and Junitia D. (Kaufer) Forbis. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Elmer D. Milliner, and sister, Eleanor Goff.
She is survived by her children, Stephen Milliner (Susan), Theresa (Howard), Julia Hubert, Timothy (Sue), Daniel (Sheila), Nicholas (Kjersti), David, Joan Picente (Frank), Anthony (Mary), Mark, Angela Ratliff (Bernard), Elizabeth Veith (Matthew), and Jason; sister, Marilyn Ott; brother-in-law, Elbert Goff; 45 grandchildren; and 45 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 1-6 p.m.on Sunday, March 11, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 3511 Rudd Avenue, Louisville, KY, 40212 with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
