Joe Hatfield Share E-mail Visit Guest Book HATFIELD, JOE, 83, passed away Friday, September 4, 2009 at Jewish Hospital.
He was a coal miner, retired welder for Manning Equipment, World War II Army veteran and a Baptist by faith.
He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Mary Gregory; daughter, Barbara Bunch; and his grandson, Larry Lee Hatfield Sr.
He is survived by his daughters, Emily Ewing (Charles) and Judy Sanders (Charlie Bowman); sons, Milford Sr. (Sue), Ronnie (Joan) and Roger Hatfield; sister, Minnie Stovall; brothers, Andrew and Jessie Jr. Hatfield; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandson.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Fairdale-McDaniel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 411 Fairdale Road. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Sunday and Monday with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West
