Joesph Hayes

HAYES, JOSEPH MARTIN, 76, of Crestwood, KY, returned to his heavenly Father Thursday, January 17, 2008. He was a Catholic by faith, and a member of St. Aloysius Church in Pewee Valley. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean conflict, a member of VFW post 3636, and a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union 502 (formerly 107). He is survived by his wife of 43 years Violet L. Hayes; daughter, Joy Husband (David); brother, Walter F. Hayes; two grandchildren, Joseph David Husband (Valerie) and Heidi N. Simpson (Bryan); three great grandchildren, Damon, Mason and Hallie Jo; niece, Patty Shah; and two beloved friends, Judy Napier and Mary Hosler. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Aloysius Church, Pewee Valley, KY. Burial will follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Sunday at Stoess Funeral Home, Crestwood.
