Johnny D.Neel, 68, loving husband to Brenda Wright Neel, passed away at home Monday December 8, 2014. He was born to the late Paul D. and Virginia Hettiger Neel in Louisville on January 12, 1946.
Johnny was a retired electrician at Fort Knox and was a proud Navy veteran.
Besides his wife of 47 years, he is survived by their daughters; Gina Thompson (Shawn) and Joyce Schook (Ben) along with grandchildren; Shawn (Emily), Christopher, and Taylor Thompson, Kevin and Alex Schook and a great-granddaughter, Lydia, to arrive in April. He will also be missed by his sisters; Judy Britt and Paula O'Neal.
