Buckler, John Warren,
79, of Louisville passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2015.
He was born November 29, 1935 in Louisville, the son of Charles and Mary Jo Buckler. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Camilla Allen Buckler; one brother, Charles Buckler, Jr.; and three sisters, Jane Teague, Thelma Rohrig and Helen Smiley.
John had worked as a Machinist at Marley Company for nearly 50 years until his retirement. He was a United States Marine Corps Veteran and a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Shively Masonic Lodge #951.
Survivors include his two daughters, Louise Inman (Tom) and Pam Cruz (Randy); three grandchildren, Alena Cruz, Marc Inman (Teresa) and Stacey Inman; two great-grandchildren, Michael and Nina Inman; and three sisters, Sue Reiss, Georgia Wyatt and Cecelia Thompson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 9, 2015 at Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Rd. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Saturday and also from 4-8 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. Shively Masonic Lodge will conduct rites at 7 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. Private interment will take place at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
Expressions of sympathy may be given to the Alzheimer's Foundation or The Marine Corps League.
