John Coy

COY, JOHN WILLARD JR., 84, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2013. He was retired from the Coast Guard and a veteran of World War II. He also retired from the U.S. Post Office and was a member of the Eagle Lodge and St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, wife, Annabelle of 31 years. Survivors include his daughters, Bernice Fogus, Patricia Ann Coy and April Ray (Ted); sons, Hilton Fogus (Donna), James Fogus (Sheri) and Wayne Coy (Nancy); sister, Juanita Dockery (Doc); brother, David Gardner; 12 grandchildren and 11great grandchildren. His service will be on Tuesday, 11a.m. at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Sunday and Monday at the W. G. Hardy Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Contributions to Wounded Warriors.
