84, passed away Thursday August 14, 2014 at St's. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital.
He was born in Louisville, KY to Joseph B. and Elizabeth (Watkins) Glenn.
John was a retired Teamster with Local # 89 and a longtime member of Ormsby Heights Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 45 years, Mary L. (Nugent) Glenn, a Son: John A. Glenn Jr., his parents; and two brothers, J. B. and Pat Glenn.
Survivors include his children, Gary W. Glenn (Linda), Jeff Glenn (Julie), Robert Glenn, Doris Dillon, and Jo Ann Armour (Steve); step-children, Tim Branson (Kandi), Terry Branson (Carol) and Vicky Shipley (Greg); 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; a brother, William Glenn (Anne); and a sister, Ellie Fogle (Darryl).
Funeral services will be held 12 noon Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be Sunday 2-8 p.m.
