HODGE, JOHN EDWARD, 87, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2013. He had been a resident at Parkway Medical Center for several years.
John was born April 22, 1925 in London, KY to the late John Henry Hodge and Rebecca Harbin Hodge. He was an Army veteran of World War II, and a retired member of Teamsters Local 89. He was the youngest of his Mother's nine children and a seventh son.
John's survivors include a son, John Robert Hodge (Carol); four grandchildren, Clint, Christa, Cory and Chad, and their respective families.
His funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Embry-Bosse Funeral Home, 2723 Preston Highway with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be 2 - 8 p.m. Monday.
