John Johnson

Johnson, John D.,62, went home to his Lord Friday September 18, 2015 at Suburban Hospital.He was born in Louisville, to Wilbur D. and Mary "Sue" (Ryan) Johnson. John was vice president of Software Design at I.E.D. (Mitek) with 25 plus years service. He was a longtime member of Shively Christian Church, where he served as treasurer for over 25 years, an elder for many years, as well as a Sunday school teacher and a member of the New Life Class. He also ran the sound system for many years.He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his loving wife of 38 years, Sandra L. (McCauley) Johnson; his children, David L., Karen M. and Kevin M. Johnson; and brother, Carl "Bob" Johnson (Ramona). Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Shively Christian Church, 1822 Kendall Lane, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be Monday, 2 - 8 p.m. at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., and at church after 10 a.m. Tuesday.
