John Lowe

John W. Lowe, 96, husband to the late Helen R. Lowe, passed away at Good Samaritan Nursing Home on Monday February 24, 2014. He was born to the late Samuel Moses and Fanny Bell Burton Lowe on December 8, 1917 in Louisville, KY.
John was a retired mill operator for Reynolds Metals, a member of the Masonic Lodge #915 and South Louisville Church of Christ. He served as a rifleman in the 110th infantry for the Army in WWII.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his son, David V. Lowe and three siblings.
He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters; Nancy L. Patterson (William), and Connie Mischler, along with three grandchildren, four great-grand children and one great-great grandchild as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the excellent staff at Good Samaritan Nursing Home for the care given to their father, especially Jill Hardin.
