RAYBURN, JOHN ANDERSON, 92, of south Louisville, was born March 19, 1920 to the late Medley L. and Mary Jane Adkins Rayburn in Carter County, KY and returned to his Heavenly Father, June 21, 2012.
Mr. Rayburn was a retired realtor and a member of the Baptist Church.
Among those who preceded him in death include his parents; wife, Evelyn Meyer Rayburn; daughter, Sandra Morey; sons, Mike and John Rayburn; sisters, Mable Hallinan and Edna Buchanan; brothers, Medley, Ted and Waldo Rayburn.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving daughter, Janis McIver; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Friends may pay their respects from 2 - 8 p.m. Sunday at Schoppenhorst.
