John Streeter Share E-mail Visit Guest Book STREETER, JOHN C., 83 of Louisville, passed away Monday July 20, 2009.
He is retired from Bell Telephone.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II; a member of the Moose Lodge #5; and a Catholic by faith.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Elnora.
He is survived by his wife, Zelda Lindsey Streeter; a daughter, Judy Duport (Jim), and a son, Jack Streeter. He is also survived by three stepdaughters, Carol Lord, Jenny Powell, and Sheila Sanders; three stepsons, Bobby, Tony and David Littrell; half sister, Betty Steinkamp; a brother, Kenneth Streeter; 18 step-grandchildren; and several stepgreat-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be noon Thursday, O.D. White & Sons Funeral Home, 2727 So. Third St., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday, and after 9 a.m. Thursday.
Expressions of sympathy can be made to Crusade for Children.
