Johnny Smith

SMITH, JOHNNY EARL, 62, of Louisville, passed away Friday, October 18, 2013 at his home. Johnny was a native of Harlan Co., KY, and a retired lead operator for Solae Company. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Eunice Smith; a brother, Jimmy; and a granddaughter, Amber. Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Patsy Ellen (Baker) Smith; two children, Earl Smith (Heather) and Cindy Miller (Chris); four grandchildren, Tiffany "Sweetheart", Brittany "Babydoll", Steven "Buddy" and John "Big Guy"; a brother, Donnie Smith; four sisters, Linda, Donna, Jeanie (Larry), and Etta (Ernie); Cousins, James Goodman, Todd Conners; also a host of devoted nephews and nieces. Special friends, Jim and Linda Bryant, Benny and Gloria Hart, Dave Harper and Larry who showed John the true meaning of friends. Thanks to Dr. Subhash Stelh and the devoted hosparus staff. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at the Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Sunday.
