Johnny Walters

Walters, Johnny Willis,88, of Louisville passed away Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Hosparus Inpatient Center.Johnny was a member of Rockford View United Baptist Church, a U.S. Navy veteran of Korean War and had retired from Ford Motor Company after 30 years of services in quality control.He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert Lee (Bert) Jones & Garland W. "G.W." Walters.Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Emma Louise (Day) Walters; and a nephew.Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Rockford View United Baptist Church with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Friday at the Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. and he will lie instate at church 12-1 p.m. Saturday.Memorial gifts to Kosair Charities or Wounded Warriors.
