Jordan Danridge

March 5, 1989 — November 5, 2017

Jordan Joann Danridge, 28, passed away Sunday November 5, 2017 at Clark Memorial Hospital.
Jordan was currently living in Jeffersonville, IN; she previously lived in Louisville, KY and Salt Lake City, UT.
She attended St. Anthony Padua Catholic School and Assumption High School, where she was a member of the basketball and track teams. After graduation, she attended Western Kentucky University, majoring in Geology and Secondary Education. Jordan was the first African American in the Space Science Program at WKU along with being on the track team.
Jordan had the honor to represent the United States in the 2003 Junior Olympics while a member of Kentucky Indiana Volleyball Club, KIVA.
She is preceded in death by her brother, James H. Danridge, Jr., grandparents, Rev. Dr. Walter and Rose Danridge, William H. "Swifty" Swift, Jr., Joann Edwards Swift, James (Jim) Charles, and L. Byron and Virginia Mockbee.
She leaves to cherish her memory parents, Kathy L. Swift and James H. Danridge, Sr. She will also be missed by her many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, teammates, along with two very special and adored dogs, Roscoe and Lola.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 am at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40216. Visitation will be Thursday from 2-7 and Friday from 10:00 until time of service.
Donations are requested to any of the following: Humane Association of Clark County, Indiana, Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliates (KODA), or Assumption High School Scholarship Fund.
