DAVIS, JOSEPH C. "DAVE" JR., 85, passed away on May 28, 2012.

He was a retired employee of Fischer Packing and an Air Force veteran of World War II.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sara Davis and his daughter, Susie Thompson.

Survivors include his children, Barbara Bryant (Robert), Betty Blevins (Charles), Glenn Davis (Debi) and Harold Davis (Sandy); grandchildren, Cari Blevins, Jeremy Bland, and Tony, Sarah, Amanda and Amber Davis; son-in-law, Jerry Thompson; and his brothers, Sam, Carl, Doug and Ray Davis.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2 - 8 p.m. Thursday.
