Joseph Harp

Harp Jr., Joseph A. "Taystee Joe" HARP, JOSEPH A. "TAYSTEE JOE" JR., 78, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2007 at the VA Medical Center. He was a retired route supervisor for the old Taystee Bread Company, a former employee at the old Summer Herman car dealership, a Navy veteran, a member of American Legion Post 220, and a Catholic by faith. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Joy Pate Harp; two sons, Ed Harp (Alice) and Gary Harp (Sherry); two daughters, Debbie Carter (Rick) and Michelle Howell (James); 13 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. His funeral service will be held at noon Wednesday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, followed by burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial gifts may be made to Hospice of Louisville.
