Howard, Joseph C. View/Sign Guest Book HOWARD, JOSEPH C., 87, passed away Monday, November 24, 2008. He was a native of Harlan County, a retired machinist for Joseph E. Seagrams Distillery, a Marine veteran of World War II, worked with youth baseball for a number of years and a member of Highland Park First Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Sarah; son, Ronald (Julia); and granddaughter, Sarah Elizabeth. His funeral is 10 a.m. Friday at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation is 2-6 p.m. Wednesday.
