He was born January 3, 1942 and was retired from Rapid Industries and Holiday Inn Express.
He is survived by his wife, Pat Lawrence; sons, Kevin Hughes (Stephanie) and Rich Hughes (Tami); daughters, Patti-Jo Carrico (Rusty), Cynde Slone (Tony), Angela McHargue (Phil), Sharon Bowling (Stan); brother, Daniel Hughes; sister, Becky Gish; 17 grandchildren: and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Thursday, January 20, 2011 at Keenan's Funeral Home, 4724 Dixie Hwy. Louisville, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation is noon-8 p.m. Wednesday.
