Metcalf, Joseph A. View/Sign Guest Book METCALF, JOSEPH A., 86, of Louisville, passed away Friday, July 4, 2008 at his home. He had retired as a supervisor at Reynolds Metals, was an Air Force Veteran of World War II and a member of Dixie Post #220 and VFW Millcreek. He is survived by his wife, Bernice Metcalf; sons, Oscar and James Florence; brother, Leo Metcalf; sisters, Lucille Zimmerman and Bernie Metcalf; grandsons, Jason, Troy and Bryon Florence; and great grandchildren, Gavin, Shelby, Olivia, Gracie and Lucas Florence and Carol Ann Sorrell. His service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West. Visitation will be Sunday 1-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
