Joseph Schetler

SCHETLER, JOSEPH EDWARD, 59, of Crestwood, passed away Thursday April 5, 2012 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital.

He was a Free Mason, a member of the Kentucky Turf Grass Council, a member of the NRA, served in the U.S. Army National Guard and a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Ella Schetler and his brother, Bud Schetler (Janet).

He is survived by his devoted wife of 38 years, Bobbie Lee Childers Schetler; daughter, Elaine Schetler Fisher (Adam); brother, William "Doc" Schetler (Millie); sister, Dorothy Alden (Bob); grandchildren, Jackson, 7, Nolan, 3, and Carson, 2; father and mother-in-law, Hershal and Bobbie Childers.

His funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday April 10, 2012 at Pearson Ratterman Brothers Funeral Home, 12900 Shelbyville Rd.with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens East Cemetery to follow. Visitation will be 1 - 8 p.m. Monday, April 9, 2012 at the funeral home.
