Nelson Salyers (David); four nieces, two nephews, four great-nieces, six great-nephews, and many treasured cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister, Thelma.

There will be a Celebration of Joe's Life at noon on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, with Dignity Celebrant, Kathy Porter officiating, burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2-8PM Wednesday at the funeral home.

Because of Joe's love for street rods, we welcome any street rods to the visitation and/or procession.

The family suggests donations in Joe's name to Shop With a Deputy, FOP Lodge 25, PO Box 17127, Louisville, Ky 40217, or a charity of your choice.
