WHITESIDE, JOSEPH W., passed away Saturday, March 5, 2011 at his home.
He was born October 18, 1948 to the late John and Mary Whiteside. He was a graduate of Bellarmine College and a member of UFCW Local 227.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Jack and Jerry Whiteside.
Joe leaves to cherish his memory, sisters Carole Hertel and Donna (Jim) Uhrig of Venetia, PA. He will be greatly missed by his devoted friends, Debbie McDaniel and Dennis Fogle, who cared for him. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, including Jay Whiteside, who assisted in his care; and special cousin, Steve Christian.
Per Joe's request there will be no visitation. Cremation was chosen and arrangements are being handled by Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
The family requests that memorial donations be made to Hosparus of Louisville.
