Joseph Lynn Wright

Joseph Lynn Wright, 62, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2023.  He was born on June 4, 1961, to the late Jack and Wanda (Riley) Wright, in Louisville, Kentucky.

Joseph was of the Baptist faith. He was a skilled falconer and was a man that loved the outdoors, hiking, camping, fishing and hunting.  Joseph made sure to spend time with his daughters by teaching them his outdoor skills, and by coaching soccer when they were young.  He was an amazing father and husband.  Joseph was the assistant director for the Awana Club.  He was also an avid University of Kentucky basketball fan.

Left to cherish the memories of Joseph's life is his loving wife, Valerie Wright; his three precious daughters, Kristin, Rachel and Carley; and his siblings, Dale Wright (Sherry) and Tonna Aspinal (Mark); along with many extended family members and friends.  He will missed by all that knew him.  

A funeral service will be held to honor Joseph at 2PM on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Homes West, 4400 Dixie Highway, with Pastor Josh Greene officiating.  Interment will immediately follow in the cemetery.  Friends may call on the family from 10AM until 2PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
