EASON, JOVITA LYNN, 56, of south Louisville, passed away Thursday, February 24, 2011, Jovita was preceded in death by her husband, David L. Eason Sr.; son, David L. Eason Jr.; mother, Frances M. Wheatley; and father, Joseph Berry.
Survivors include two sons, Brandon Eason (Lindsey Caudill) and Justin Eason; daughter, Shannon Brasfield (Joseph); grandson, Tyler Brasfield; brothers, Leon and Leo Wheatley; and sisters, Beverly, Sharon and Delores; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sts. Simon & Jude Catholic Church, 4335 Hazelwood Ave., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Monday at Nunnelley Funeral Home, 4327 Taylor Blvd.
