Joy Kerr

KERR, JOY, 83, of Louisville, returned to her Heavenly Father on May 17, 2014. Joy was a member of Shively Baptist Church and a retired office manager from Kosair Brace Shop, where she helped improve the lives of many disabled children and adults. Joy truly loved her family, was the life of the party, and dearly loved by all. Many heartfelt thanks to all those who lovingly cared for her at the Good Samaritan Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Kerr. She is survived by her son, Scott Kerr; her daughter, Lisa Kerr Link (Ricky); and her beloved grandchildren, Sean and Shannon Link. Her service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at Highlands.
