Joyce Metcalf

Joyce Rose Metcalf, 91, wife to the late Grant Metcalf, Sr., passed away at Sacred Heart Village on Tuesday November 1, 2016. She was born to the late Frank, Sr. and Agnes Dick Massey in Louisville on June 23, 1925.
Joyce attended Beechmont Baptist Church.
She is also preceded in death by two daughters, Sandra Whitlock and Diane Shields and siblings, Harold and Frank Massey, Jr., Jean Garvin, and Nancy Strong.
She is survived by her sons, Grant Metcalf, Jr. (Donna), James Metcalf (Sharon), and Donald Metcalf (Darlene) along with 9 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by siblings, Richard Massey, Betty Lefebvre, Patsy Bell, Carolyn Edlin, Shirley McGuire, and Judy Pretty.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:00 at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway. Visitation will be Monday from 11:00 until time of service.
