Stewart, Joyce E. View/Sign Guest Book STEWART, JOYCE E., 81, of Louisville, passed away at Norton Audubon Hospital on Sunday, November 23, 2008. She was a retired school teacher for Shacklette Elementary School, a member of the Shively Christian Church and a Kentucky Colonel. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leland F. Stewart. She is survived by her loving sons, Mike (Sonia), Greg and Tim (Tiffany) Stewart; a brother, Louis Eaton; sisters, Patricia Reeves, Nancy Miles and Donna Romines; and her grandchildren, David, Shelby and Taylor. Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2008 at noon at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy., with burial to follow at the Louisville Memorial Gardens West Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday and after 10 a.m. Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to: The American Diabetes Assoc.
