Joyce Wheeler

WHEELER, JOYCE A., 66, went home to her Lord Saturday July 27, 2013 at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center. Joyce was born in Louisville to Robert and Christine (Heil) Warren. She was retired from U.S. District Court, with 23 years service and a member of Valley View Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 39 years, Danial L. Wheeler, her parents and infant sister. Survivors include her children, Joy M. Burba and Dana Harrell (Dan); six grandchildren, Ronald, Alexis and James Burba, Todd Wheeler and Dallas and Hank Harrell; a great-grandchild on the way; two brothers: Bobby (Carol) and Denny Warren (Joyce); and a sister, Darlene Hayden (Frank). A Celebration of her Life will be held noon Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
