Juanita Robbins ShareE-mail Visit Guest Book ROBBINS, JUANITA, 83, was reunited with her husband of 58 years, Kenneth C. Monday, May 4, 2009, when she passed away at her home with loving family at her side. Juanita was one of 13 children to William R. Heck and Mathilda E. Heck. and was a "Rosie the Riveter" during World War II. She then became a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother for many wonderful years. She played in the same Bunco Club for 35 years for fun. A dear sweet lady who never complained or said an unkind word and truly the BEST grandmother in the world. She is survived by her three loving daughters, Diana Sue Pryor, Nita Ann Roseberry (Greg) and Kini Cravens; six grandchildren, Angela Adkins (Brett), Kelly Williams (Ray), Rhonda Bowyer (Rick), Gina Gibbs (Vance), Tyler Cravens and Cristian Cravens; eight great-grandchildren, Bretney, Landon, Jalin, Aleah, Ashleigh, Megan, Julianne, Peyton; two sisters, Melva York and Thelma McIntyre,; two brothers, Norman Heck and Al Heck; and a special neighbor, Kim Rogers. Special loving care was given by her daughter, Kini. The funeral celebrating Juanita's life will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home , 4400 Dixie Highway. Burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens Cemetery West. Family and friends may visit 2-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. prior to funeral service. Memorial gifts may be made to Hospaurs of Louisville or WHAS Crusade for Children.
