Judy Marie Burden

Judy “Marie” Burden, Born November 6th, 1957 of Louisville, KY,  peacefully passed away on Saturday, April 29th 2023 in her home surrounded by her children and holding the hand of her husband, (Buddy Steven Burden) of 49 years. Marie proceeds her mom, (Judy belle Avery) and father (Anthony Joseph Avery). She is survived by her children Amanda Burden (Cory) Tyler Burden ( Eileen) Clayton Burden ( Cassidy), Her Grandchildren Lyla, Eli, and Cayden who she adored so much!

 She is also survived by her sisters Monica Yocum, Mary Joe Avery, Michele Wilson (Chris) and Misty Avery, and her aunt Linda Dunn (Don).

Marie was a beautiful soul who touched the hearts of many. She knew how to leave an impression on people!  She was in the food service industry for 40 years. She also worked at Churchill Downs where she had a smile that lit up a room! She loved being a cafeteria manager for St. Helen while also being a dedicated wife a loving mother, grandmother and a wonderful friend who was good at listening to you! She will be greatly missed by her family and friends! We love you mom we will see you "In a minute".
