She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Gritton, who was killed in World War II, and with whom she had her sons, Larry and Danny, and her husband of 62 years, Henry J. Taylor II, with whom she had her son, Jack.
Survivors include her sons, Larry Bond Gritton (Elizabeth), Danny Meral Gritton (Susanne) and Jack Taylor (Torri); five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; brothers, Justice, George, Daniel, Rudy, Sanford and Marvin Chetham Jr.; and her sisters, Alma Carney and Isabelle Lewis.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 2 8 p.m. Thursday.
Memorial gifts may be made to the American Heart Association .
