Kathryn Marie Franklin, 91, wife to the late Evan G. Franklin, passed away, surrounded by her family, at home Wednesday October 5, 2016. Kathryn was born to the late William and Lena Nichols Sperzel in New Albany, Indiana on July 22, 1925.
Kathryn worked for the Southland Terrace Kroger for many years and was known as the "Cookie Lady". She was a member of Ormsby Heights Baptist Church and attended Lighthouse Christian Church.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving daughter Rita Wheeler along with grandchildren, Debra Gray (Tom), Tammie Wheeler, Beckie Fluhr (Greg), six great-grandchildren, and eight great-great grandchildren.
