ASHBY, KENNETH H., 55, passed away peacefully at his home Saturday, June 30, 2012.
Ken was in the lumber business, a fisherman and a model train enthusiast. He volunteered many hours to the V.F.W. Post 1170 and was a member of the American Legion Post 244.
Ken was a Baptist.
Preceded in death by his father, Damon H. Ashby.
He will be sadly missed by his mother, Helen Ashby; and sister, Sheryl Ashby.
His funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday July 6, 2012 at Owen Funeral Home-Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Rd. Burial will be at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be Thursday from Noon till 8 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Heart Association.
