Rice, Kenneth S. View/Sign Guest Book RICE, KENNETH S., 87, of Louisville passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2008, at the Hosparus Inpatient Unit. He retired in 1971, from the Postal Transportation Department and again in 1988 as a self employed contractor. He was a World War II Army Signal Corp veteran, a member of the D.A.V. Commander Club and America Legion. He was preceded in death by his wife, of 47 years, Virginia M. (Williams) Rice. Survivors include three brothers, Teddy B. and Gilbert L. Rice, both of Louisville and Darrell M. Rice, of Cape Coral, FL; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service: 10 a.m. Friday at Nunnelley Funeral Home, 4327 Taylor Blvd., with burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation: 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday.
