Rich, Laura Powell "Elsie" View/Sign Guest Book RICH, LAURA "ELSIE" POWELL, 85, born in Grayson County, KY died Saturday, October 6, 2007 at Kindred Hospital. She worked for 22 years at American Tobacco Company, retired from General Electric, and was also a member of St. Matthias Catholic Church. She is survived by her son, Norman Miles (Sharon); stepson, Donald Rich (Beth); grandchildren, Alissa Meriwether (Chris), Alex Miles (Rachel), Dustin Miles, and Harold Wagner (Kim); stepgrandson, David; great-grandchildren, Erika Hartsock, Christopher and Elly Miles; and many nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. Burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Tuesday and after 11 a.m. Wednesday.
