Laverna June, 83, passed away Thursday January 6, 2011 surrounded by family. Her loving husband of 63 years Charles Murphy precedes her in death. She is survived by her sons; Eddie Murphy (Gary Meredith) and Michael Murphy (Kim), sister; Charlene Bradford, brother; James Nash and three cherished grandchildren; Taylor, Cody and Justin. A service celebrating the life of Laverna will be 11 a.m. Monday at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
