LaVerne Hacker

LaVerne E. Hacker 92, wife to the late Delbert B. Hacker, passed away at Essex Nursing Home on Tuesday March 3, 2015. She was born to the late John and Dorothy Biecker Crawford in Louisville on September 22, 1922.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Ellen Spencer and four siblings.
Laverne worked for Sanders Dry Cleaners. She was a proud recipient of a Kentucky Colonel award, a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic church, a volunteer for Hosparus, and a member of Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital Women's Auxiliary.
She is survived by children; Mary Ann Huddelston, Ted Schmoll (JoAnn), Mary Margaret Reynolds (Mark), Connie Hacker, and Theresa Childress (Jim). She will also be missed by her brother John Crawford (Doris) along with grandchildren; Bill, Ted, Terry, Jennifer, Bret, Shannon, Eddie, Darrin, Kevin and 6 great-grandchildren.
