MOONEY, LAVERNE D., 80, passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at Golden Living Center of St. Matthews.
She was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Mooney Jr.
She is survived by her sons, William L. III (Linda), Joseph Michael (Marlene), Marty (Karen) and Patrick A. Mooney (Rebecca); daughter, Tracey Mooney; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at Mary Queen of Peace (St. Denis campus), 4205 Cane Run Road, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Thursday at J.B. Ratterman & Sons-Grand Chapels, 4832 Cane Run Road.
