ROWE, LAVERNE (DAVIS) "DOODLES", 80, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2012 at the Golden Living Center in St. Matthews.
She was born in Edmonson County, KY to Norman and Addie (Geralds) Davis.
She was retired from Food Services at St.'s Mary & Elizabeth Hospital, with 15 years service. Laverne was a longtime and faithful member of Longfield First United Baptist Church.
Survivors include her loving husband of 61 years, Randolph H. Rowe; and her children, Donna Rawlings (Greg), Randel L. Rowe (Terri), Sandra Bradshaw (Gary), Rebecca Dell (Walt) and Monica F. Rowe; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Longfield First United Baptist Church, 5507 Cartledge Ct., Louisville, KY. Burial will be in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., and after 10 a.m. Thursday at her church.
