NEAL, LEE A., 93, passed away Friday, June 8, 2012 at Georgetown Manor Nursing Center.

He was born in Island, KY. to Matt H. and Inis B. (Allen) Neal.

Lee was a retired from National Distillery and Philip Morris. He was a member of Shively Baptist Church and was a U.S. Army World War II Veteran, with 3 Bronze Stars, while serving with the 35th Infantry Division.

He was a member of Island Masonic Lodge # 743 F&AM.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two of three brothers; and his loving wife of 58 years, Mary E. (Tabor) Neal.

Survivors include his children, Anna C. Merideth and Ronald L. Neal (Sue); three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be Sunday 2 -6 p.m.
