Lena Hehl , 102, passed away at Rockford Health and Rehab on Thursday, August 22, 2013. She was born to the late Henry and Carrie Daugherty McArthur on February 22, 1911.
She was also preceded in death by her husband Edward C. Hehl, Sr. and son Edward C. Hehl, Jr. (Muriel)
She is survived by her daughter, Donna Lee Smith and grandchildren, Bill Smith, Ted Smith, Tami Sexton (Ron), Tina Higdon (Mike), Steven Hehl (Ina), Rick Hehl (Gloria), Danny Hehl (Cheryl) and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the wonderful staff at Rockford Health and Rehab and her sitters; Christiane Sexton, Joyce Shircliffe, Virginia Bockting, and Cheryl Hehl; along with special friends Tom and Iris Aikins.
