Lena Hughes

Hughes, Lena Mae View/Sign Guest Book HUGHES, LENA MAE, 83, of Okolona, passed away December 3, 2008 at her home. She was the former Lena Redmon, a native of Sargo, KY, a retired assembler for General Electric and a member of the American Automobile Club of America. Mrs. Hughes was preceded in death by her brothers, Carl, Ed, Grant "Red" and Willie Redmon; and two sisters, Virginia Lancaster and Elizabeth Roy. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert E. Hughes; a daughter, Carol Allen; two sons, Robert E. Hughes Jr. (Eula), and Richard A. Hughes; three grandchildren, Lisa Reiter, Phillip Allen Jr., and Lisa Propheter (Rob); and two great-grandchildren, Jamie and Curtis Reiter. Her funeral service will be noon Friday at Arch L. Heady & Son, Okolona with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2-8p.m. Thursday. Expressions of sympathy can be made to Hosparus.
